This Privacy Policy explains how MOAI handles personal information for the MOAI mobile app, web subscription page, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
MOAI collects the minimum information needed to provide subscriptions, account access, customer support, fraud prevention, and payment-related services. This may include name, email address, account identifiers, subscription plan, order and payment status, usage entitlement records, support messages, access logs, and transaction identifiers returned by payment providers. MOAI does not store full card numbers, bank account passwords, or payment authentication credentials on its own servers.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, provide MOAI app features, manage subscriptions and plan entitlements, process Creem checkout events and app store in-app purchase events, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with applicable accounting, tax, consumer protection, and payment record obligations.
3. Payment Processing
When users choose card or web payment, checkout may be processed by Creem and its payment partners. Creem may receive the purchase amount, currency, product or subscription name, customer email, checkout session, transaction identifiers, payment status, refund status, dispute information, and other information needed to complete payment, tax, compliance, fraud prevention, and customer receipt workflows.
4. App Store and Google Play Purchases
When users purchase subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play, payment is processed by the relevant platform. MOAI receives and stores receipt, purchase token, subscription state, renewal, cancellation, and entitlement information needed to provide and synchronize subscription benefits.
5. Retention
Account and subscription information is retained while the account is active and as long as needed to provide the service. Payment, refund, dispute, and tax-related records may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Support records may be retained for customer service, security, and dispute resolution purposes.
6. User Rights
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of their personal information where applicable. Some payment and transaction records may be retained where required by law or necessary for dispute resolution, fraud prevention, tax, or accounting obligations.
